Hi again Borislav!
I noticed the problem when I attempted to run the application after placing it into the
"Companies System Menu". I received the following error message:
"The following Error was created
111 Cannot update the cursor"
So I placed a BROWSE in the code after my Select-SQL statement. And attempted to insert a character into an empty field. The wait window VFP default said "Control is Read only".
Then, in the development environment, I tried the same thing. And was able to insert (and remove) characters into the blank field.
And, I agree on the "finding what causes the problem".
Thanks for all of your responses. I appreciate them.
>But how you understand that the cursor is read-only? VFP raise an error or by something else?
>There is no variable that could cause such behaviuor. Also you could always use the old method used in previous version of VFP when a programer wants a readwrite cursor, But I think you should find what causes the problem instead of using it.
Thanks,
Chad
