Good point, although I think that could be said about any development community. There are countless threads on DEVX that trash Java, Delphi, and VFP. Many remarks don't even focus on the programming issues, but on market share.
But you are right, VFP proponents could be most effective showing positives, like what I heard Ken Levy do recently. He apparently wowed some VBers.
