>>I maintain an app in Foxpro/Lan 2.0 for Dos on a Netware Client32 platform. I am having trouble with insufficient memory and too many memory variables with several of the 19 users. This is an app I inherited and I didn't know Foxpro when I got it. I have read alot about memory management and am going to try several things like putting the ovl file on each workstation. I have read that openibg and closing databases uses quite a bit if memory. My question is if the app has less than 25 databases should I be opening them all in startup and closing them on exit to make use of the 25 workspaces? The majority of the code opens a database when needed and closes it again after use. I am trying to find the quickest and easiest way to take care of the memory problems without re-writing alot of the code as I am updating the app to the windows environment in the next few months. If anyone knows of any good resource to help with this problem I would appreciate it as well as any advice anyone has

I have increased the mvcount significantly in config.fp. How do I increase the buffer/files in config.sys when we use Windows95?
