I forgot to mention - I have done this and strangely "System" is using 100%; however if I run another program that lets say utilises 20% then "System" drops down to 80%.

Regardless of what is running it is always at 100% CPU usage.

I've seen some CPU cooling programs reflect this kind of behaviour making the processor appear to be running at 100% to make less vital processes not over utilise the CPU. I've checked and nothing like that is installed.

Have you come across this before?
