I have a friend that worked at Shaw in northern Georgia until he passed away from a stroke last year. The company was great and his boss was great. Of course this is in a different city and a different department in the company entirely. I do know though that Shaw has great benefits - especially in regards to medical and retirement. That may outweigh the problems with the PHB (especially if you are over 45).

The people, the boss, the environment was one of the worst I had ever seen. You can't say much here, I'm sure, but you are a very intelligent guy; are there no other options?
