Try PhDbaseIII, from the Hallogram web site. They're an advertiser here on UT or go to http://www.hallogram.com

Their ad in FoxPro Advisor says 'memo fields', but it's worth a look. Michel uses PhDbaseIII in his Search procedures, and it obviously works very fast.
