If some of the fonts you installed don't work immediately, try later. Windows takes its sweet time to notice them. I was driven nuts and bolts recently when I added a few fonts and they just wouldn't show up anywhere. Went away and came back five minutes later - and they were all recognized. May have something to do with font caching, when is it refreshed etc.
