I'm slowly moving over to working exclusively in Java, HTML and the like over the next year or so. Have already been doing it about 60% of my time. At least here at the company. I've been a Foxpro guy for more years than I can almost remember. Most of it from a visual standpoint, meaning not text-based object oriented development. Much of our department has been doing a lot of work creating classes/objects in PRG files, whereas I've primarly done that visually through the project manager. I find it difficult to grasp and feeling a bit like things are moving on without me. But, do I care much if I'm heading to the Java/HTML world? Any thoughts appreciated.
