I have to agree with Tom. If I were the user I'd be cursing the programmer the caused me to search thru 64K items in a list. Surely the user can pre-select a sub-set of the data first? Agree about the grid too.

>I understand your statements on using a grid. I can't get too into detail about the software application, hence the vagueness. However it is possible for a user to get say around 100,000 records returned. Never would envision a million record database.
