Hi Ken.
Do you have details of the exact model of Zebra printer that you are using ?

Regards,

Gerard

>Yes, the Zebra experience was/is no picnic. I was able, however, to use the VFP label generator, drop a textbox on the label and change the font to barcode. The problem for me was the "top of form". Seems to be no way to accurately set that and when printing a long list, the slippage becomes annoying.

>If I remember correctly, the labels we use were about 2-1/4" wide and 3/8" high. The width is somewhat misleading because the label is to be folded in half, inserted through the ring and then stuck to itself. The middle third if the 2" has cutouts so the two actual printing areas are quite small.

>>Hi Ken.
>>I had some experience with Zebra printers a few years ago...as I remember it , it was not straitforward printing... can you use the VFP report writer to print by dropping the text box on the detail line and changing the font ?
>>
>>Also, my customer has specfied Ean 13 ... do you know if this is a runner or have you had any experience with this particular font ?

>>>Hi Gerard,
>>>
>>>I had the exact need, a jewelry business that wanted bar codes on labels small enough to attach to rings etc. I ended up using Bar Code 2/5 Interleaved. It was the only one that would print small enough. I used a 6 digit code. I purchased the font from Elfring Fonts and they were very helpful in choosing the correct font for the application.
>>>
>>>The printer is a Zebra barcode/label printer and they had small labels that you fold over a ring thus making a tag. On one side I print the product code and price, on the other I print the barcode.
>>>
>>>Hope this helps,
