Way back in 2002 I reported problems with controls not appearing on the form when I used a grid control. I began to realize that is was related to the complexity of the form but gave up trying to find the real cause and switched to using listboxes.

Lately I was rethinking this problem and began to realize it had something to do with timing. Then I happened to come across a blog on August 9th written by Calvin Hsia where it explained the cause of this problem because someone else had finally submitted some good repro. code. As I read the blog I realized it explained my problem exactly and thanks to Calvin I also have a solution.

I must say his blogs are well worth reading. I always learn something from reading them.
