FWIW I can't repro this, Neil. Something you might want to check is this: Open your ISE project, go to the Shortcuts/Folders page in the Installation Designer, select your shortcut in the treeview, and check its Target property. Does the target refer to [INSTALLDIR] or does it refer to a fixed drive and path? If it refers to INSTALLDIR then the target of the shortcut should change if INSTALLDIR is changed at installation time.
