Try to use Import command. VFP 8 have sintax with

Sheet

parameter, see if VFP 7 have it too. Sample:

Import From Orders.xls Type XL5 Sheet Customers

The dbf created have the name Orders.dbf. You can to change the name of the Sheet to get other sheets. See VFP help.
