A couple of years ago, when Joe lived in SLC, he and I sat down together for lunch. Dan's take is right on. Joe is a purist and anything that doesn't follow pure relational specs is bad. Joe is also very intelligent and knows alot more about relational databases than most of us will collectively learn in our life times. And he's not afraid to tell you that.
>Kudos to Dan LeClair, Dave Bernard and Jean-Rene Roy for a most excellent report on the PASS database conference. I know the kind of sacrifice of time it takes to put together a report like this, and these guys came through big-time.

>It's well worth a read, especially to see Dan say what he really thinks about Joe Celko's attitude. :-)
