>Hey Lincoln,
> How's life treating you. You can display images on a form using the picture control You are limited to just displaying bitmaps (I can't remember if you can display PCX's). There are a number of other OCX libraries that will let you display just about any type of image you can think of the one I like is leadtools. You can geta demo at www.leadtools.com. This library also has scanning utilities.

Rod,
What a treat! I'm doing well. How are things in the great NorthWest? BTW I bought your book (VFP5 Ent. Dev.), much of it is still beyond me but I've used quite a bit of it.
My VFP learning curve has been steep(course I do have a day job), but I think I'm finally beginning to understand much of it. Finding this website was a godsend I've solved problems in two hours that would have taken me two months on my own. I'm nearly ready to distribute my project systemwide. My only problem now is I am learning so many new and/or better ways of doing things I keep changing my app; my EXE is in it's 84th version! If you get back to the "Right" coast let me know, I'm sure I could make better use of your instruction now.

Thanks for your help.
