Each computer has an icon (desktop, folder, start menu) which shows the correct path to the files. It will show both the path to the EXE and the folder where the program files reside.

Once the EXE starts, the computer finds the data files in the correct path for that computer.

On a network, this can be made easier by having the network path the same for each user.
