Sedna, and another asteroid discovered a few hours before the "tenth planet", are both smaller than Pluto. The "tenth planet" is believed to be slightly larger than Pluto.

Pluto itself was believed to be much larger. Now, its status as a planet is questioned by many - which meas that the planet status of the "tenth planet" might also be doubtful.
