>>>Hey Peter,
>>>
>>>What's this I hear about witches in the Netherlands now being able to declare their brooms and spell casting lessons as tax deductions?
>>>
>>>Wow, talk about a tolerant society!
>>
>>The reason is that she needed the lessons being an actress. Like when some Hollywood star would temporarilly hire a fireman in order to prepare for a film role as fireman. But funny it is indeed. :)

>Ah, ok. The story I read in the paper didn't mention anything about her being an actor. And the brooms? The production company doesn't supply props?
>
>On the other hand, for all I know, maybe mediums here in Canada can declare their crystal balls, tarot cards and blurry image projectors.

Well, if they are professional teachers, then they can declare their costs. Here in Holland hookers also could declare their costs and had to pay taxes on their income, even when they were still illegal (years ago). And there was this case, some time ago, about a criminal who declared his gun and the like as costs, really! And the judge agreed!
Groet,

Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
