We are all glad that you came out from your cocoon. <bg>

>Thank you. Given the number of solutions you post here on the UT I am firmly convinced that you are more than one person, so I'll answer all of you. :)

>Until the last few years I have preferred to live the life of a hermit coder. I spent my days studying, writing code, and lurking for the most part. I started to notice that out of all the languages I was coding in (I won't bore you with the list), I had a special affinity for Visual FoxPro. I decided that I wanted to see what could actually be done for Visual FoxPro and the Community that surrounds it. I was convinced that if I wanted to eventually have anything that resembled an impact that I would need to increase my visibility, so I gradually increased my activity on the forums (mostly Tek-Tips at first) and eventually created my blog. The rest of the story is what it is. Visual FoxPro and the Community is still not where I envision it, but it is definitely on the upswing and I remain firmly convinced that we, as a community, can do more in a single year than MS could do in 10. No slight on MS or the Fox Team intended, I'm just saying that we have over 100,000 developers at our
>disposal (that is over 10 times the size of the .NET team at MS), and VFP can be improved using pure VFP. If only a fraction of the VFP Community engaged and began to Educate, Excite and Expand... the results would be enormous. It has become the reason I get out of bed in the morning. Everyone needs a purpose, and a way to give back... I'm blessed to have this opportunity.
