>When I was in France (80s) I absolutely loved it. However, the streets in the cities were filthy and all of the vehicles had yellow headlights! The country roads were very nice though and the people out there very friendly. I drove in around Nederland in the 80s as well - I went to Den Haag a couple of times. It was the closest to being in the states of all the countries I've visited. They actually had round door knobs!

I like those yellow headlights they don't glare so much in the night. We used to get yellow plastic filters to put over the lights on one car that also altered the dip beam so it didn't go in the wrong lane.

Paris streets are a lot cleaner than they used to be. A few years ago you would stand in dog s___t (can't say that because of the stupid filter) almost every time you went out.

I saw your note about your accident and I hope you recover quickly.
