Not sure if I'm knocking on the right door... but hopefully somebody knows about this kind of thing.

Working on a web-based software app here. Trying to learn how to take a user-entered username/password combo within an ASP application and authenticate against an Active Directory controller. For example, would work pretty much like this application does (https://daly.medicine.iu.edu/Med/frameIndex.htm)... note the log-in required.

Can anybody share any info or references about how to do this? I think it involves using ADSI and/or LDAP. I've never used these services before and despite extensive googling cannot find good references or examples.
