There's really no easy way to do this directly, because there are firewall and security issues.

If you have password information on your server and access to it, and there are no firewall issues using the various ports that Windows uses for network connections you can directly connect to a Web Server by machine name.

Really, though the best way to do this is through a Web Server and an application on the backend that can act dynamically on hte data. A full example of this is explained in detail here:
