Hi Walter,

Laugh all you want, but as I told you few weeks ago ;
- time is comming for good VFP-ers to make some money :)

I personally think that NET (tide) wave will create serious
money earning potential for those who stay for a while with VFP.

1. Decent VFP shops are/will become highly competitive in terms of
delivering good/high value 4 reasonable money.

2. Real cost of VFP development can be much lower then some years ago.
Learning curve is already invested, RAD/OOP is running high,
methodologies/framework(s) already developed, tested and put in place.

3. By now, almost all major issues with VFP are already resolved,
so even new applications are running without any major problems
bearing on average less maintenance costs then before.

Now is the time to get some money back in return on all that investment,
instead of dropping it all together and investing entire house into something else.
While madness of buying stocks is running high, wise thing to do is -
expand on real estate. That wld be be in our case VFP :)

Cheers :)

>Thanks, I needed that laugh. What about south africa ?? Anyways, I might better stick with VFP as it now becomes a niche that might pay as good as COBOL programmers :)
