FWIW, I tried your method and it printed with the font displayed
define window mflTest from 1,1 to 300, 300 in screen font "Arial Black", 14
modify file x:\foxv\classes\base.h window mflTest
Then SysMenu->File->Print->Printer Selection->Print, and the printed text was Arial Black 14 (My default is Courier New 10)
