Kevin, that would be absolutely terrific (not to mention VERY generous) if you would. Please let me know if you do make it available.

Thanks,
Tracy

>Walter, to your knowledge, has anyone yet developed small matching data-driven applications in VFP and VB (or C#) to demonstrate a 'typical' means of accomplishing the same business requirement using both tools? I realize that there are 20 ways to skin a cat, but experienced programmers tend to use a tried and proven method of data handling over time so a common method of approach should be known in all three tools by now I think. Even a simple single data entry form for a backend would be a worthwhile test/demonstration.

>Tracy...PMFJI....not to self-promote, but I have a demo .NET/SQL Server application that's based on a simple job-costing/invoicing system I wrote for a construction company. It's a model of a 3-tier application that I discussed in a recent issue of CoDe magazine. I'm in the middle of doing an upgrade to it, and I'm beginning to think I should just make it available to everyone after that.
