There is a quote from Apple that I have always had great admiration for -- "Think Different". I would certainly not knock the C# team on this, especially when they have one of the brightest minds at Microsoft at their helm. Sometimes it is tough looking at things from a different perspective. And it is always difficult challenging an existing standard, but that is what great minds do.
