The NFC North does seem to be the NFL's equivalent of baseball's NL West. <g> That's not fair to the NL West. At least the division winner had a .500 record!
I looked at every NFC North team's schedule. In games outside their own division, I'd only give each team a chance to win 2, maybe 3 games at best. So even if the three teams with 1 victory wind up splitting their 4 remaining division games, you could actually have a division winner with a 6-10 record!!! That's going from parity to pathetic!
I still think Minnesota is a better football team than 1-3, but if Culpepper's injuries get worse, they're in trouble.
One other thing, since I know you're an Eagles fan. I have a new-found respect for them. I never thought much of them, because the NFC is so weak right now. I didn't realize how good they were until they totally dominated KC last week. I can't recall the last time a team walked into Arrowhead and basically slapped the Chiefs around, after falling behind 24-6. I still say Andy Reid is nuts for his pass/run ratio...but that team is clearly better than I realized.
