It is dangerous, but if you first make a copy of the SCX/SCT you can at least restore. Then...

USE yourform.scx excl
BROWSE FOR UPPER(PARENT) = "DATAENVIRONMENT"

These should be the records representing the tables in the DE. Delete them and then pack and close the file.

It's called hacking the screen and it's easy to make the form unable to open.
