Pretty bold statement:

Time will tell. But then again do you think ActiveX will encompass Socket programming? Obviously (to me) TCP/IP is the future (especially when we get a better address scheme). I see socket programing as being included in ActiveX -- kind like a wrapper around it. I think we will be doing Socket programming via ActiveX.
