I've been running VFP7, VFP8 and VFP9 on my watercooled AMD FX-53 for almost a year now, never had a problem, except when i overclock too much the darn thing ( but then the whole windows crashes ).
...and yes, as George said, AMD have much powerful chips than Intel, specially if you're a high-end hardware enthusiast.

>Just bought an HP zv6130us notebook computer for $850 (after rebates) at Staples. Happened to run into it and since the price was ending that evening, I bought it with the idea that I'd evaluate it and return it if it didn't seem like what I really needed. (If you're interested, I believe this price is still available at Circuit City, also.)

>Anyway, I think the Athlon 64 CPU that it has will run VFP and all Windows apps with no problem, but I was just wondering if anyone was running VFP on an Athlon 64 and, if so, had they run into any difficulties.

Why do programs stop working correctly as soon as you leave the Fox?
