Hi Sergey

I think I have confused two things here. I used VFPCOM to export the events for both the Outlook Application and the SyncObject objects and then use VFPCOM.BindEvents function.

I am currently using the WestWind control but am experiencing problems with emails blocking the download from the POP3 and also not receiving attachments properly (truncated). When I download the offending emails using an outlook client there does not appear to be anything wrong with them so I figured I would switch. Also outlook provides a convenient way to manage the email history as well as a method of multithreading (not sure about the last).

My problem is that SyncObject doesn't appear to have the information that outlook displays during a send/receive. I have looked at the Progress event for the SynObject but it appears that this relates only to the current email being received/sent and I cannot find any information on where to get the number of emails to be downloaded or the size of these emails. I know the number of emails is returned by the POP3 server on connection but cannot find where this information is stored or how to know how large the emails are.

I have been through all the documentation I can find, including the link you sent as well as trying to locate something in the command window but have not been able to find anything that will provide the above info. I suspect that it is handled by another object (maybe session) but dont know how.

If you can think of anything I wouold very much appreciate it.

Regards
Geoff Scott

This is done by the .syncstart which all works fine but I cannot seem to find any of the information that outlook displays in the details/progress popup box. In particular, the number of emails and the size of them.
