I realize it has been a long time since this post, but I have a question. I have made a connection ran some sqlexec code, got my data, etc.. I then minumize the app, go do other work. After a while I need to get some more data from the minumized app. I try and execute the same sqlexec code but get an ODBC error that AS400 has droped the connection. Is there a way to test for this and trap around it to reestablish the connection before sqlexec code is ran?
