Thanks for your input. I set the Themes property on the VFP desktop to False and the problem disappeared.

>Do you have special screen colors (colorscheme) setup in VFP leftover from previous versions maybe? Set it and your desktop to the default and see if it changes anything. I had this happen once after running an older apps code that had VFP color settings in it.
