No I want "Report Manager"s ActiveX reportmanx.ocx to behave that way. Is there any way it can be converted to a DLL, and make a call to it rather than CREATEOBJECT() at runtime of the same.

I have to pass calls to this ActiveX to populate parameters, SQL statements. So this DLL should be what the ActiveX is but can be spun off as a seperate process an "Out-of-VFP" experience <g>.

I have no ideas about DLL creation and if such a DLL can be created out of this same. If such a situation is possible it will also have a beneficial spin off, I believe, when there is no data to display the ActiveX in it's current state does mis-behave and generate a C5, so maybe if it a seperate process it can have it's own C5 and not disturb the app's functioning.

I guess this maybe be a tall order but is it possible?
