Hi, Joel,

The Crystal SPLIT function returns an array. I'm pretty certain you can't return an array in a formula.

Are you trying to "get at" a particular portion of the column? If so, you'd need to read through the array that gets returned by SPLIT. Anyway, let me know what specificially you're trying to do and we can go from there.
