I agree with this. It is aprox. day-per-report job , and you hv new report versus having to handle printing in DOS mode onwards.

BTW you can search messages here regarding POS printers handling, because
simillar logic applies in this case. There were couple of workable solutions that I hv seen. Produce txt & copy to port or print directly to printer with ?/?? . See Hilmar's text report tool here in downloads.
You can also have look at my 'CodeRep' which is FRX like structured report but in code.

So tell yr colleague to pick 'n choose / roll up her sleeves :)
