I used @...say many years ago, but then I thought that ? / ?? are easier to work with, and switched to that.

9991 (text reports) gives you printing in text mode, with preview in the default browser; you have access to many reporting features, like many levels of group headers and footers, among others.
Srdjan has another reporting tool, which I didn't analyze in detail - it supports several output formats, and I believe text report is included, too.
