>I've been asked to move a working VFP 7 application using VFP dbc to a web-based application using SQL Server. I'm working through UPsizing and changes in selects to be SQL compatible, etc. but I'm not sure where to begin to get the executable to run on the web. I could rewrite the code using vbscript or javascript and asp pages but I thought there was a simpler and less time-consuming method for doing this with VFP. Can someone point me to a good book, set of articles or something that can help me through this process and better explain things like web services, com, client/server (I understand these three in general but I'd like to better understand the differences in them, how you determine which you should use in this situation, etc.) and little things like that.
