It looks like Office is trying to be self healing, it's detecting a change in the ocx signature and wanting to get back to what it thinks is right. This whole technique may not work any longer.

Might I suggest an alternate calendar control? *g* It's not really that hard to build something in native VFP controls, there's probably even a few in the files section here. For dates I really like using the Quicken-like textbox I created a long time ago you can get it from my website.
