I really had a good laugh at this one! Sadly, it is probably pretty close to the reality of the situation...

Yeah, it's sad to say, but I might not be far off.

In my 2nd programming job, when I was about 24, the president and I had a client meeting at a large building. I had to bring along a heavy PS2, two monitors, and a laser printer. We couldn't find a cart or anything, so I had to make three trips between the car and the office and bring everything in. By the third trip, the client asked the president why he wouldn't help me carry anything - his response? "I'm the president and CEO - I can't have people seeing me carrying heavy equipment in." Then they said, "But he's the programmer, right?" His response???? "Ehhhh, they're a dime a dozen..."
