You might want to take a look at the Windows Task Scheduler. It's a much lighterweight solution to periodically running programs.

>Thanks for the suggestion but currently this simple approach that im creating will suffice my client needs. They basically need a program that will send email everyday at a predefined hour of the day. It's already working and the current datetime conversion is just the piece that is missing to implement the program.
