This is an indirect reply to your question:)
Running an exe under IDE doesn't exactly behave the same way when it's run from outside. I create a shortcut on desktop and/or quick launch and run from there. IDE is also open as another task. I can check exe and make changes in project, test individiual form/prog etc in IDE and when ready, exit from exe and recompile project for next go (but I do recompilation rarely and generally work with individual form/prog etc).
