>>John, as UT Sysop, I am not agree here with you. Edward Pikman is (and always >was) one of the most valuable UT resources. In 90% of cases his responce is >the first one and practically no one can catch up with him on that.

>Being first and being correct are not the same thing. If he is always first - well, I guess he has a lot of free time on his hands<s>. Sorry if you are offended at my tone. I see stuff like this go on and on, and eventually feel the need to handle it head on.

>Really? You believe this with regard to his reponse on Private DataSessions??? If as a Sysop you really believe this - then perhaps I have miscalcutated here regarding UT. The platform is wonderful. The accuracy of some things has to improve.

>>I have to say that this tone of messages is completely unacceptable on UT. The >accusations of that sort definitely have never be posted on UT. You can >discuss problems with Edward in private e-mail or UT Private Messaging system, >if you want.

>Thats fine. Except if somebody posts something completely inaccurate - are you saying we should just let it go. If you saw my initial response to Ed - with regard to his response - It was not offensive. Me getting ticked off was his response to me - regarding the way he answers questions. That was totally lame IMHO.

>>I hope that UT will never turn into kind of VB forums you mentioned in your >early messages here.

>I hope not as well.

John, for your information (and other people who may be involved into this or any other thread), I am not talking here the accuracy of this particular answer. Edward and you may have different opinion on this problem and you can express your opinion here freely, discussing technical details. But the technical discussion must not convert to the personal attack neither after 1 answer, nor after 1000th. Nobody on UT should talk from the position of godsent person.
