Can they access another https:// site?  What router is it?
  Are you gonna let a liberal, democrat router beat you? <<just kidding>>

Can you do a tracert? dnslookup?  Oh, by the way, usually you can not access 
https sites by IP since the ssl cert is issued for a domain header and not an IP.

Just trying to help with the troubleshooting.
