C# is superior for web application, but if you like to make datacentric client-server application do not advise you to switch from VFP to C#. If you manager likes he can visit our office i will demonstrate him how fast work the same apps done in VFP and .Net after that he will be able to chose technology very easy.
You can said him that when Microsoft make C#3.0 in 2007/8 where will be implemented more of datacentric features of VFP it will be good to switct :-)
