Are you americans living in the past? An application written for a browser will not be marketable at all in Norway, the users require a more efficient interface.

Some organizations have a browser as a business requirement.

Few people have been more negative about browser interfaces than I have - but recently I've been looking at Custom Webcontrols and the new capabilities in ASP.NET 2.0. I'm still not totally sold, but I'm at least realizing there's more than I thought.

In most european countries we stopped using checks for payments more than 20 years ago, USA is soooo late in using new technologies.

I've written maybe 5 checks this year - almost all my bills are automatically pulled from my bank account. I still receive checks for miscellaneous income, but the major ones are direct deposited.
