I need to extract data from a very old system that stores its data in Dbase 4. Although I can open the tables without any problems in VFP9/8/6, FPW2.6 and FPD2 (I still have all these versions) none of the programs is showing me the real contents.

Example the table is showing:

S001 Store in original tightly closed containers below 86°F (30°C) to maintain product quality and

However, I know that the table should be showing me more. When opening the table in any text-editor to look at its binary data the text is shown properly:

S001 Store in original tightly closed containers below 86°F (30°C) to maintain product quality and maximum safety. 

In other words: Fox is chopping of parts of the text. Is there a way to get hold of the entire text? I have also tried to import it with Access etc but they all show it like Fox.

Any ideas on how to retrieve the data is appreciated.
