John;
This notion of “upside” or “tongue in cheek” as Kevin has stated bothers me. Personally, I believe an ideal profession is one, which is enjoyed by the individual and allows you to exist at a level, which you appreciate.
Is it better to be God or the Devil? How about being a dishwasher or programmer? Everyone does not measure happiness by what programming language you use or how many lines of code you write. There is a big world out there and we are but a small part of it.
Dose anyone have the right to criticize you for the profession you have chosen? We know that people do this all the time and in my opinion they are the wrong end of the horse!
Tom
P.S. I would rather be scrap-booking! It sounds like fun and has great value! :)
