Kevin;

Well, we learn more and more with each episode of your comments about VFP. I guess you come here for comedic relief, blow a few minds, piss off a few people, and then go back to serving your customers.

There are ways to get a message across without aggravating your audience.

Perhaps you would think of me as a failure or bust your gut if I said what profession I will be enjoying in a year or two, when I retire. I will be teaching piano and guitar. Surely that is worth a laugh! By the way I have played flamenco guitar professionally for some of the most famous dance groups and families from Spain. I guess that is not a worthy endeavor.

Are we truly getting all of your message or are we missing something important? Perhaps you should print out and read your messages as I have. I think I have missed at least 95% of your true meaning but I now understand your intent. At least I would like to think so, based upon the history of your posts on this subject.

By the way scrap-booking sounds like an enjoyable venture with rewards that are not available through programming, in my opinion. :)

>Thanks for your feedback. I admit, I was having a little fun. Someone forwarded me the original link with the question about which career had the biggest upside, and I truly thought it was a gut-buster.

>Just prior to that, a few others and I were poking fun at the Fox job offered by Jack-in-the-Box, and I suppose I got caught up in the irreverence when I received the "where are they now" link.

>And by the way, I've never bashed VFP. It has always been a tremendous product. I've worked with every version of Fox, going back to 1988. But as time passed, I recognized the value and benefit of proficiency in multiple tools. Not an exaggerated "portfolio", but more than one.

>But...FWIW, I don't buy into the stimulus-response notion of "baiting". Requérir deux à dansez. For instance, someone made a rather crass analogy with the likely intention of seeing how high the mercury would rise. You'll notice I didn't say much to him after that.

>Thanks,
