I am not sure about the TODOs, and I try to avoid the drama of them (whether they show or not, and sometimes they are not great motivators - 'Oh no, another to do list!'). What I have resorted to is:

#warning Remember to yank DumpControls before going live!

So, when I rebuild/compile/debug they appear as warnings in the output window with details of file and locations. Warnings are taken more seriously.
